Prior to joining Choice, Katz was a consultant with Arthur Andersen in Washington DC as well as a principal in a niche consulting practice focused on market assessment, competitive and customer analysis, and merger and acquisition support.

Katz received his BA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He also holds a JD and an MBA from Georgetown University.
