These operations include The Virginian Suites, The Pennsylvania House, , The River Inn, and George Washington University Inn, as well as the Windsor Hotel in Philadelphia and 320 North Michigan in Chicago.

Mr. Cafritz is also active in numerous professional, civic, and charitable organizations throughout the Washington region. He serves on the governing board of Management Leadership for Tomorrow and on the board of directors of the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation.

He is a past trustee of the Black Student Fund and currently serves on the board of advisors for the Democratic Leadership Council. Mr. Cafritz is also treasurer of the PEN/Faulkner Foundation.
