She has also worked at several distinguished hotels including the Henley Park Hotel and Morrison-Clark Inn in Washington, D.C.; the four-star Hotel Escalante in Naples, Florida, as well as the Noble House Hotels and Resorts in Kirkland, Washington, where she rose through the ranks to become general manager in 1994 and later Director of Systems, a title which she held for five years.

Heath graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in management and marketing.
